As each piece is finished with a hand-applied blued patina, slight variation in tone between pieces is normal and part of its character, and the patina will continue to develop naturally with use.
We recommend wiping each piece with a soft, dry cloth after use to remove ash and residue.
Please note the burner and ash press become hot during and immediately after burning, so allow them to cool before handling, and always use on a heat-safe, stable surface away from flammable materials.
